Water heating – this is done by a heat exchange system. By turning on the a.c. in the master bedroom during the day, this heats the water. This is effectively free as solar power provides the power to do this. There is a temperature readout on the wall under the fuse box just inside the entrance door.
Central vacuum cleaning system installed. Two sockets for the hose (kitchen and lounge locations). 10m hose with fittings that reaches all areas. The power unit is in the parking area and will need emptying at appropriate intervals.
Internet – this is currently supplied by 3BB. Each space (and outside) has wall sockets for wired connections to the internet. Wifi is also available and works well. The only comment I will make for info is that is does fail sometimes and every time it has been due to the cable on the roadway has broken – either by weather or damaged by construction sites. Telling 3BB often results is a fairly rapid response to repair the cable.
Plug sockets – in all spaces, most are double and accept various plugs. They also have usb sockets for use e.g. charging points for, computers etc
Speakers installed inside and out for playing music.
Ceiling fans – fitted in all rooms. Remote operation
A.C. units – installed in every-room. They have recently been serviced only last week. No problems were found. Also, remote operation.
